The Seoul Metropolitan Government hosts the annual Jeongdong Culture Night, and this year’s festivities are scheduled for May 23 and 24. To celebrate, one of our dedicated greeters is volunteering to lead a special guided tour on Saturday, May 24.

Meeting Point: In front of Deoksugung Palace's main gate (Daehanmun)

🏛️ Highlights of the Tour
Deoksugung Palace: Explore the former royal residence of King Gojong, the last monarch of the Joseon Dynasty, and learn about its unique blend of traditional Korean and Western-style architecture.
Gojong's Road (고종의 길): Walk along the historic path that King Gojong once took, connecting Deoksugung Palace to the Russian Legation, a route rich with stories of Korea's late 19th-century diplomacy.
Donuimun Museum Village: Visit this cultural complex that recreates Seoul's neighborhoods from the 20th century, offering a glimpse into the city's past through restored buildings and exhibitions.
Seoul Anglican Cathedral: Experience a live pipe organ performance in one of Korea's oldest Anglican churches, showcasing Gothic Revival architecture and serene ambiance.

The Jeongdong Culture Night festival features various events, including street performances, art installations, and food stalls, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the cultural atmosphere of the area.
